After a very productive visit to Fliegermuseum Altenrhein and the airport, we moved on. Our main aim today was to get to Zurich and pick up another member of the team who was flying in today.

Whilst Grant had arrange a tour here, no one was initially available to escort us. However after a chat with one of the airport workers, who rang the airfield owner, an elderly gentleman arrived to give us the hangar tour. He was a retired pilot and trainer, however he did struggle to make a faster pace, as always, time was crucial for us. Having said that, he was eager to show us around everywhere and to his credit he moved as fast as he could. We were most appreciative of this and took our time so that he could catch his breath on occasions. Because of this we were here for 1hr 30 minutes and therefore had to miss out one airfield. Fortunately it was a glider field, so it would have been unlikely that we would have seen that much anyway…Phew.
