I had a pre arranged taxi collecting me from the Hotel at 0800. If anyone wants details of the firm I used then please E mail off group. As it was Monday morning the journey took just over an hour in heavy traffic I arrived at 0910. On arrival I first took a walk both left and right out of the terminal to glean as many numbers as I could though the various openings in the hangers and shrubbery. This was very hot and sticky work and I was glad to get back into the Terminal at around 1030.
I made my way up to the Observation deck on the 2nd floor. On my last visit in 2013 it was just a long corridor with windows to view the action. I was pleased to see a rather comfortable Coffee Shop now operational up here with nice easy chairs to watch the action. I spent a very enjoyable day sat here. I wasnt botherd by anyone and the coffee shop staff clearly knew what I was doing and made sure they topped me up with coffee at regular intervals.
Subang is not the Busiest Airport by any stretch so it is quality over quantity. I came needing 11 Malindo Air ATR72s and within 4 hours I had seen 9 of them. The tenth has not flown from Johor Bahru for several months so I can only assume it is damaged or WFU.
I today have logged everything I could read. So apologies in advance if my light aircraft recognition is not up to scratch.
