A long overdue visit to the Imperial War Museum North at Salford Quays. I had not been since October 2006!
The area is also known as Media City and over the years has become well developed and is now a well kept area with plenty of wildlife around.
Easily visited by either Metro / Tram, bus or car. Information on the options are on the official Imperial War Museum North website.
Only one full and in tact aviation exhibit here, although it also has part of a German glider and a section from Rudolf Hess’s Messerschmitt Bf110 aircraft that crashed landed in Scotland on the 10th May 1941.
