This morning started cloudy and cooler of late so I decided to head off early this morning to RAAF Pearce to see if I could find my missing Singapore AF PC21. Logged on a visit this morning between 0915 and 1145:

There are also now Hawks based and flying from here. Whilst I didn’t note them down there looked to be half a dozen flying or parked on the airfield. Distance and heat haze are an issue and almost nothing on the ground will be read. I parked at the end of Warren Road by the runway threshold and read stuff as it departed towards me, As with last year security seem happy as long as you park across the road from the fence.

From here I made the short drive back to Perth for a required SIA A359. Noted on a short stop between 1220 – 1305

By now the sun had come out so I decided to head down to Jandakot to see what had changed over the weekend. There is a nice shaded viewing area and even on a Monday afternoon the place was very busy. New ones noted between 1345 – 1515
