Oshkosh & Chicago 2025 tour added (Grant Robinson)

TOUR ADVERT
Oshkosh & Chicago – Saturday 19th to Monday 28th July 2024

As a ten day trip, we will spend quality time at EAA AirVenture/Oshkosh and Chicago.

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh is an annual gathering of aircraft held each summer at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The event is sponsored by the Experimental Aircraft Association, and is the largest of its kind in the world. The show lasts a week and you can normally expect to see at least 3,500 aircraft at this event alone. We will work with you to understand your requirements and make sure that you understand what you need to do and have a plan for how to get the best out of Oshkosh.

Aviation as a whole is widely represented starting from the lighter side with gliders and hot air balloons, right through to the heavier with currently serving military aircraft and some airliners.
The main showground areas contain homebuilt, exhibition, general aviation, ultralight, vintage & warbird aircraft. Also of interest elsewhere are the AirVenture museum, Basler turbo DC-3 conversions, FBO areas, Pioneer Field/helicopters and the Seaplane base.

We will be staying at the University of Wisconsin located close to the airfield and will have the transport to be able to visit nearby Fond du Lac and Appleton airfields where many Oshkosh overflow aircraft can be also found.

Come and join us at Oshkosh – The World’s greatest aviation celebration.
